2017 Assembly
The 46th Annual Assembly of the RBC will take place July 17-20 at the Mater Dolorosa Retreat Center in Sierra Madre, CA. Registration will begin in March, 2017.
Schedule
The assembly will begin on Monday, July 17th. Check-in and registration will begin at 1:00 PM. Our assembly will open with opening remarks, dinner, introductions, and a social on Monday evening at 5:00 PM.
We will conclude and depart after lunch on Thursday, July 20th (12:00 PM).
A final and complete schedule will be available in the coming weeks.
Airport Transportation:
For those flying into LAX, two transportation options are available:
Public Transit: Upon arriving at LAX, take the Flyaway Bus http://www.lawa.org/flyaway ($9.75 beginning 1/1/17) to Union Station and then take the Gold Metro line to the Sierra Madre Villa Station. Upon arrival at the Sierra Madre Villa Station, request an Uber/Lyft or call the RBC for a ride to the retreat center (2 miles away). The one way fare is $1.75 and includes free transfers to other Metro Rail lines for up to two hours on a one-way trip. Seniors and disabled travelers pay only $0.75 per ride.)
Shuttle Service: The staff at Sierra Madre has recommended Prime Time Shuttle. For one way service, the cost is $31.45 + gratuity. Roundtrip is 62.90 + gratuity. For those who prefer shuttle service, the RBC will assist with coordinating shuttle rides. Upon registering for the assembly, we will contact you via email with additional details.
